We run rain or shine, and our guides are pros at keeping things enjoyable, no matter the weather.
“There is no such thing as bad weather. Only inappropriate clothing.” -Scandinavian proverb
Here’s our full terms & conditions for private events:
Cancellations
Life happens—we get it! You may cancel your experience for a:
- 100% refund up to 14 days before the event
- 50% refund up to 72 hours before the event.
- Cancellations within 72 hours of the scheduled start are non-refundable.
Booking & Headcount Policy
Payment is required upfront based on your expected headcount.
You may adjust your final headcount up to 3 days before the event.
If your final headcount is lower than your original booking, the minimum charge will be 80% of the originally booked headcount to cover staffing and planning.
If your headcount increases, we’ll accommodate additional participants based on availability. The difference will be billed separately before the event.
Rescheduling
Once your booking is confirmed, your date is set! If you need to reschedule, a $300 fee per tour guide reserved applies. The new date must be scheduled within 2 months, or the booking will be forfeited without a refund.
Weather Policy
Outdoor Ghost Tours – Rain or Shine
Tours run in all weather. If you’d prefer to reschedule due to forecasted heavy rain, please contact us at least 12 hours before your tour starts, and at our discretion, we’ll do our best to find an alternative date. You’ll have 7 days to confirm a reschedule date (which must occur within 2 months). If no new date is confirmed within 7 days, the tour will be forfeited and remains non-refundable.
Venue-Based Tours (Wine & True Crime, Pub Crawls, etc.)
These tours depend on venue partnerships, so reschedules due to weather are only allowed if all partner venues agree. If a reschedule is approved, a $300 fee per guide applies. Otherwise, the tour proceeds as booked or is forfeited.
Extreme Weather: If extreme weather causes venue closures or unsafe conditions, we will work with you to find an alternative date or provide a refund.
Fire Season: If air quality (AQI) is deemed unsafe for extended outdoor activity, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule. If we cancel for this reason, you will receive a full refund, even for same-day cancellations.
Running Late
If your group is late, we’ll either shorten the tour to end at the scheduled time or, if the guide is available, you may opt to run the full tour for an additional $250.
A 15-minute grace period is included before overtime charges apply.
